The key to trusting God is to stop trying to figure Him out. God is not required to send you a memo reporting what He’s working on, but even if He did, you would probably question it. (“What? You blessed that man who cut me off in traffic? How could you?”)
Isaiah wrote that God’s ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. For as the heavens are high above the earth, so are His thoughts higher than our thoughts. You’re not going to understand God, but you can trust Him.
“Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.” Corrie Ten Boom
Lean hard into God’s arms and let Him hold you while you go through these hard times. Stop texting your friends to complain, and look to God instead for help and healing. He’s right here, waiting for you to realize that He’s right here.
Now pull your shoulders back, and take a couple of deep breaths. Put on some good Christian music, and let it play while you focus on trusting God with what lies ahead. Then say out loud: “Thank you God, for this day.” It really will help!

“Thank you Linda. God sends comfort, even if He doesn't explain the hardship.
"If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on the things on the earth" Colossians 3:1,2.”
“Linda, I have often remarked how succinct verse 7 is. It sums up the whole matter. This post is very good and serves as a great reminder. The magnitude of our earthly problems is always relative to our trust in the only One who is trustworthy. I have been thinking about you alot lately. Praying for you today in particular. Love, Bonnie”
